Just for you!!

My dear friend Elaine Lovinggood sent this to me tonight and I find it so, so true! Never, ever forget how wonderful you are and how specially created you are! You are unique and there isn't another one like you! I know, you don't feel special and wonderful but you are cause feelings don't count!! To someone else, you may be the only light they see and your smile maybe the oly thing that lights up their world. You just never know who is being put in your path today and for what reason.......so give 'em a smile!!

The Most Dangerous Cake In the World!!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanillla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1,000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Jerry is still in Intensive Care at Emory in Atlanta, GA and has a blood infection and pneumonia!! And here I am in Tennessee!! Makes me want to scream, but I am sure it bothers my sweet Ann even more cause she isn't allowed out of the house!! So, the words of my Momma came back to me today. She used to say, "I cried because I had no shoes, til I met a man who had no feet!" So, there are always those that are in a worse place/shape than we are and to count our blessings. So, once again, "I look up to you, Lord! Please forgive my whining, complaining and pettiness......I love you, Lord!"

Hey, in case you missed me, I have been MIA for a few days! Trying to stay in touch with my family in GA and keep up with Ann & Jerry. Jerry had his surgery on Friday, the 9th but has gone downhill since. Friday night he had a reaction to the morphine and just basically went berserk. He knows everybody, but is just talking crazy, pulling out tubes and thinks the nurses and Dr's are trying to kill him. All kind of hallucinations....all from morphine! Think what happens to people that take this stuff for fun! He has been put in Intensive Care because his heart is racing and they can't get it to slow down. "OH, God of all creation...take care of this child you have created!! Give him and Ann peace in their heart and mind. They love you, Lord and we lift them up to you, Lord Jesus!"
